Monument

I never really knew what the Monument was, except for the Tube stop, so the other day we decided to get off of that stop and see what we were missing out on. Apparently it's this huge column built to remind the Great Fire from 1666. I am so ashamed I didn't know the existence of this thing, but proud to say I climbed all its 311 stairs and saw this beautiful view
